Senior Pastor
Archbishop Dexter C. Burke, D.Div is our Senior Pastor with a deep passion for evangelism and community reform. A native of Georgetown, Guyana, Archbishop Burke has lived in Connecticut for over 25 years where he has served extensively in various capacities. He has traveled extensively worldwide and has met with heads of government, and with military and religious leaders at all levels, engagements he believed has helped shape and broaden his approach and application of the Gospel message of grace and redemption. Archbishop Burke holds degrees in Communication, Biblical Studies, and Divinity. A veteran of the US Navy, he has received numerous awards, citations and congressional certificates for community involvement and spiritual leadership.

Church Administrator
Rev. Nadine, our Church Administrator, manages and oversees all the managerial, technical, and operational activities and responsibilities of the church. She also serves as Praise & Worship Leader, and is an encourager and an insightful teacher of the Word. A native of Jamaica, W.I., Rev. Nadine joined our Team with over 20 years of executive management experience in church and ministry. She holds a BSc. in Admin. Management from the University of Technology, Jamaica, and a M.Mgt in Nonprofit Management from Oral Roberts University, OK, and a Master of Theology and a Ph.D. in Christian Leadership & Management, at Trinity Theological Seminary, IN.
She is the proud mother of Glory, and enjoys music, singing, and reading.

Minister Andrea Downer is the Assistant Women’s Fellowship Leader at Walk In The Light Church of God, Inc. A native of Jamaica, West Indies, she has lived and worked in Hartford for over 20 years, and is committed to the salvation and spiritual growth of those within the Greater Hartford area.
Minister Andrea has an unwavering love for God and a genuine love for people. She is passionate about helping people live a life of victory in Christ Jesus. She is a fearless and practical expositor of the Word, and strongly believes that prayer is the answer to all the fundamental issues of life. When she is not ministering as a powerful prayer warrior and intercessor, you will find her pouring her love and passion into tasty Jamaican dishes while listening to Gospel reggae.
